Cal. 44 HRF. S# 121323. Bbl. 24" octagon. Blade front sight w/ graduated leaf rear sight. Full length mag. Walnut forearm & straight grip stock w/ brass trapdoor crescent buttplate. Brass forearm cap & toeline of stock are fitted w/ sling swivels. 1874 manufacture. CONDITION: bbl. & mag. tube blue has largely faded to brown, showing edge & carry wear. Brass receiver shows a pleasing light patina w/ light scratches & handling marks. Forearm has been lightly sanded & refinished. Unsanded stock has worn finish with scattered light to moderate dents, scratches & marks. Bore has slightly darkened appearance with light pitting, with largely intact rifling. (01-27051/DS). ANTIQUE. $5,500-8,500.
